不一会儿，汗出来了，胳膊也酸了，嘟嘟还不肯歇一下。花了三个月时间，砖房终于盖好啦！小猪嘟嘟乐得直笑。
山后边住着一只大灰狼，它听说来了三只小猪，哈哈大笑说：“三只小猪来得好，正好让我吃个饱！”大灰狼来到草房前，叫小猪呼呼开门。呼呼不肯开。
大灰狼用力撞一下，草房就倒了。呼呼急忙逃出草房，边跑边喊：“大灰狼来了！大灰狼来了！”木房里的噜噜听见了，连忙打开门，让呼呼进来，又把门紧紧地关上。
大灰狼来到木房前，叫小猪噜噜开门。噜噜不肯开。
大灰狼用力撞一下，小木房摇一摇。大灰狼又用力撞了一下，木房就倒了，呼呼和噜噜急忙逃出木房，边跑边喊：“大灰狼来了！大灰狼来了！”砖房里的嘟嘟听了，连忙打开门，让呼呼和噜噜进来，又紧紧地把门关上。
大灰狼来到砖房前，叫小猪嘟嘟开门。嘟嘟不肯开。
大灰狼用力撞一下，砖房一动也不动，又撞一下，砖房还是一动也不动。大灰狼用尽全身力气，对砖房重重地撞了一下，砖房还是一动也不动。
大灰狼头上撞出了三个疙瘩，四脚朝天地跌倒在地上。大灰狼还是不甘心，看到房顶上有一个大烟囱，就爬上房顶，从烟囱里钻进去。
三只小猪忙在炉膛里添了许多柴，烧了一锅开水。大灰狼从烟囱里钻进去，结果跌进热锅，被开水烫死了。
老大呼呼难过地对嘟嘟说：“盖草房虽然最省力，但是很不结实，以后我要多花力气盖砖房。” 老二噜噜也难过地对嘟嘟说：“盖木房虽然省力，但是不结实，以后我要多花力气盖砖房。”
嘟嘟高兴地说：“好，让我们一起来盖一座大的砖房，把妈妈也接来，大家一起住吧！”。

The two little pigs now felt sorry for having been so lazy. They too built their houses with bricks and lived happily ever after.
